Aman Sankineni
We clicked! That is the best way to describe my interview with Atman. I loved talking to him about our video game experiences and the good old days of MW2 and MW3. It was so awesome to also learn about his love for comic book movies as well. It is universal at this point that Spider-verse is the best comic book movie of all time. I also loved to hear all the anime recommendations he gave me which I will definitely check out during the summer when I have more time. Overall Aman is so awesome and I can't wait to meet my grandbig in person!

Journey Sepulveda-Marrinez
Journey was honestly someone I really connected to the most. Especially when it comes to our roots and our struggle with Spanish-speaking. I myself feel that sense of not being confident in my language and feeling like such an outsider when it comes to that but it felt relieving to find someone else who also struggles with trying to maintain that Latinx identity through Spanish. Also I feel bad for making Journey stress about housing but I know she will figure it out and find a way because I can tell she is a person that will get it done one way or another. I also hope she does get a chance to visit Mexico more, especially her family roots. Overall, talking with Journey felt amazing and I wish to talk with her more soon.

Suzy Kadir
Suzy is one of the chillest persons I know. Probably because she is tall. That was a joke I said during the interview where I said I usually get a long with tall people and they usually like me. I really enjoyed talking to Suzy about her background in Afghanistan and Germany. I felt that struggle of not being trilingual because it would be so awesome if she knew German. I also really appreciated the restaurant recommendations she gave me and I hope one day the potluck we talked about actually happens so I can give Suzy enchiladas made with diced potatoes and carrots. Overall my tall vibes matched with Suzy's and I hope to hear from her soon.

Julia Rowell
I really liked talking to Julia, She was very chill to talk to but is very empathetic since we both are going through with our classes and activities outside the classroom like with her job at USAC and also doing tanning for other people. She was very sweet and caring and I appreciated for her taking the time to talk to me after explaining her crazy schedule and all of her responsibilities. I did like how she wanted to work in entertainment law which is very fascinating so maybe I should have that as a back-up to when I want to do immigration Law. Overall I really liked talking to her and I hoped to talked to her soon.

Amy Vandyken
Amy is honestly so awesome. Not only because she is part of my family, the BITCHES, but also because she is so ambitious in what she hopes to achieve. I loved how we talked about our struggles with the 141B class that we're in and how we've been trying our hardest to just get that A. I also thought her proposal was very ambitious while interesting and I really do hope to read it someday. Like me, she is also with a packed schedule and I know she has work and is always very busy to I did appreciate that she gave me some time to talk with her. I really do hope to talk to her more soon and overall loved meeting with her.

Alejandro Salas-Villa
Ale was amazing and honestly the breath of fresh air I desperately needed. He gave me so much more hope about my future and I think that is because Alejandro understands my background more than most if not all the fraternity. He understood everything from where I was coming from and told me the exact advice I just needed to hear. It is the same advice from everyone else but I think people would understand when it comes from someone who feels like they actually get you, speaks in volumes. Ale is someone I definitely want to keep in touch with especially since he feels like he has figured out what is important to keep close and what is important to have second.

Sophie Zane
Sophie is invited to every Mexican cookout in the history of Latinx. It was so heartwarming that she knew specific Mexican dishes that have a place in my heart. I definitely hope we can make the Mexican food group chat actually happen. I also loved our intellectual debate about the immigration issues here in the U.S. I loved hearing all of her questions about my potential solution in order to fix the issues at hand. Honestly also loved hearing about both of us having protective parents that sometimes can overreact. Overall, I am going to bring Sophie some of my mom's food one day.

Hannah Daggy
Like many other actives, Hannah was very much helpful in making room in her very busy schedule to take the time to have an interview with me and Nathan. It was really funny talking about the brotherhood events going all black and trying to win compared to Nathan’s group. It was the best. I also vented a little about what was going on with me which was great since Hannah was so encouraging and sweet. I loved also learning about her major too and what it incorporated. Overall, I cannot wait to talk with Hannah again.

Matthew Lyou
I had a chill vibe talking with Matthew. I did like how he approached certain aspects in his life. For example, he also lost his wallet just like me but he freaked out like me but eventually was telling me that it is what it is and that it is better to move on than keep looking in the past. I can definitely see myself having a chill day with him talking about the game we play on our phone and also about which alumni are the best. It was also interesting to learn about his internship as well and his experiences with the program. Overall I definitely hope to talk to him soon in the future.

Mira Khosla
It was a lot of fun talking to Mira. She is always one of the sweetest people to talk to who always feels like she genuinely cares which I believe she does. I loved talking to her about music. Her taste in music is elite. I loved exchanging different recommendations and talking about our love for music. I truly cannot wait to hear her thoughts on the new J.Cole Album. I really want to learn her point of view on the album and also any other recommendation she could give me. Maybe we can start some kind of music session group chat where we listen to new albums and talk about it afterwards. That would be really cool. Overall, I loved talking to Mira so much.

Mihir Rai.
My boy Mihir! It is always fun talking to my boy Mihir. I loved catching up with him, especially if his shoes were getting iced or not. I have faith he will find a way soon to ice them. I also love the trust we got with each other. I definitely trust Mihir with anything and everything just because you know he's that guy to always have your best intentions like me. I really cannot wait to finally go to Westwood and meet him in person because it is going to be amazing and we going to have the most fun. Also can't wait for the plans we have in store.

Jessica Cen
I really enjoyed my talk with Jessica. I enjoyed learning about her background in Canada and how her transition was to move to another Country for school. I was also fascinated by her legal assistant position at a corporate law firm. It was interesting learning about all of her responsibilities and how she manages to balance that with school and membership education so I highly applaud her and Lauren for taking the time to really teach us how to improve our professionalism. Overall, I grew to really appreciate Jessica more as a mentor to learn from.

Carter Walling
Carter was one of the most exciting actives I wanted to meet since I started rush considering that we were both transfers and he was such a cool guy during rush. he did not disappoint during our interview. I loved all the advice he gave me to enjoy my last year as a transfer and also hearing his perspective on what it means to attend school on campus versus online. I also cannot wait to do a pickup game with him and the other actives and show them how it's done. I will be just as competitive if not more competitive than them.

Connie Liang
I really enjoyed talking to Connie, especially when we were talking about the brotherhood event where we our group went all black. It was fun bringing back those memories from the brotherhood event. I also really loved hearing more about her major: Cognitive Science. It was very very interesting how it relates a bit with political science in terms of trying to understand human decisions and actions. I also enjoyed her advice for when I make speeches and debates which I will definitely take into consideration. Overall I really enjoyed all the advice that she gave me and I hope to talk to her soon.

Caroline Hsu
I loved talking to Caroline. Ever since her presentation during the Adopted Big/Little Mixer, I always wanted to talk to her badly and she really does not disappoint at all. She brings so much energy and light to a room it is very infectious. She was really funny and definitely someone who always has the best intentions. She really does want me to be at a good high standard not only as a pledge member but as someone who is pledge president. I think she is a lot of fun to talk to and have fun with and I hope in the future I can talk with her more.
